I had John Langley build a custom RFBR rifle for me last year and couldn't be happier. The rifle shoots better than I can and he is a prince of a fellow to deal with. I can recommend Mr. Langley highly.Bergara BMR accuracy expectations. Just acquired a second hand Bergara BMR. Probably around 700 rounds down the barrel. Trigger adjusted down to just slightly more than 2 lbs. Barrel is free floated. Mounted a Leupold 6.5-20x40 scope on it. Checked scope rail, and action bolts, everything was tight.I purchased an M69 for $150 a couple of years ago. They are quirky and accurate. The firing pin doubles as the ejector creating some FTE issues. Aftermarket magazines are available but may need a little adjustment to feed. Practice match today so I tried three different torque settings on the aluminum trigger guard I added. One different setting for each target. 25inchpds, 17inchpds, and 21inchpds. Magnification of 12X in a EER scope is about the limit for me on hold-ability and twitchy-ness, and it focuses well under 20 yards, maybe even 10 yards. Neither of the bolts will close all the way for the same reason: the ejector and extractor won't align correctly. They are both hitting the breech face BELOW their slots in the barrel.
