There are some undertones in the narrative regarding Night Elves and also the Infinite Dragonflight. It feels like an old school DnD campaign with a WoW tint. Most of what they know was found by accident by superstitious witch doctors, and "proper" mages would have a conniption at the idea of Trolls calling themselves magic.
